I have always loved dogs. I was only a child when my parents brought home a lovely a German Shepered Dog.
Three more followed and all of them took part successfully in numerous dog shows. After I got married,
my wife, Giovanna, and I decided to buy a Dobermann puppy. We had him for eleven years and he was a source
of great joy. He also gave up the pleasure and satisfaction of seeing him win many times in the show ring.
After our beloved 'Dob' died we started looking for a new companion and that was how, we looking trought
a dog encyclopedia, we noticed the Manchester terrier. We studied the beautiful photos of this extraordinarily
elegant dog for a long time. We finally decided for this breed. Thank also to my great friend Mr.Alberto Tartari
a breeder of Cairn terriers, who told us of the arrival from England of a Manchester terrier bitch, Keyline Morning Glory,
who was expecting a litter from Ch.Keyline Vengeance. We immediately contacted the new owner and booked a puppy, a dog,
called Moonlight Serenade. It was then that we got in touch with Miss
Nerolie De Levis Trafford who gave us a lot of useful advice and the possibility of becoming a member of the B.M.T.C. She also
introduced us to 'Highhlights', an inexhaustible source of information about the adorable Manchester terrier breed.
In the spring of 1991, when Moonlight was already started on the show circuit, we got to know first the dinamic Mr. Raf de Winter, who sent us 'Tina'
, Mancunian Ostara and then Mrs. Liisa Koskinen who kindly brought us little 'Tickey', Kimblewick Fata Morgana all the way by plane
from Finland. That is just the beginning, we have now had more than 100 lovely puppies and more 100 championships and success all over Europe.
